Thought to have been created in the late 19th century, this classic is a great introduction to whiskey.

Preparation

Crack one egg & separate the egg white from the yolk.

Instructions
  1. Add sugar syrup, lemon juice, Angostura bitters and egg whites to your glass shaker.
  2. Add a large measure of Whiskey to your glass shaker.
  3. Add one ice cube and whip (shake) aggressively to aerate the solution.
  4. Add more ice and shake until cold.
  5. Remove your Double glass from the freezer and Fill with ice.
  6. Pour your drink into the glass using a strainer.
  7. Garnish with 3 Drops of Angostura bitter & swirl with bar spoon.
Ingredients
50ml Jonny Walker Black Label
20ml Egg Whites
20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
12.5ml Sugar Syrup
1 Dash of Angostura Bitters
Garnish
3 Drops of Angostura bitter & run a tooth pick through them
